We stayed here when the VRBO that we were planning to stay in didn't work out. It was late at night when we called to see if they had any rooms (we needed 2). They were very nice and accommodating despite the late hour. In the morning we were delighted to see that there was a free breakfast included. It was not fancy but had plenty for us. I highly recommend this hotel!
We had a wonderful stay at the Granite Town hotel. The staff is amazing, they were so kind and helpful! Our room was very clean, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I love that our room had a table to eat at in it. Our kids loved the splash pad and basketball court. It is about a 20 minute drive to saint andrews which was great! We can't wait to go back. 10/10!
Hidden gem! Slept like a baby in the beds, I love soft beds so it wasn’t an issue for me. Sheets were REALLY SOFT!!!!! Haven’t encountered sheets like that before at any hotel/motel I’ve stayed at. The fleece blanket under the top blanket was nice. Like someone else said, the cold and hot were reversed on the shower. One of our keys also didn’t actually unlock our room but we were there for less than 12 hrs so it wasn’t much of a bother in the grand scheme of things. Breakfast buffet felt a bit cluttered due to the reception area’s furniture so you need to watch yourself and the other guests when navigating with food and drinks. I’d go back for sure.
What a wonderful experience we had at the Granite Town Hotel! The entire staff was so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help us with any inquiries or requests we had. The hotel is very charming and has a bed and breakfast feel. They have a great dining area that is available at all times to guests. The only complaint we had was with the mattresses. They were too soft and a tad lumpy but the rooms were very clean and cute. The hotel is situated close to the main road where you can find great pubs, ice cream shop and walking/bike trails. Overall, a great place to stay.

It was advertised as a Sleep Number bed, but it definitely wasn’t – and it was far too soft for my comfort. A better bed would have made this a near-perfect stay. Overall, if you're looking for great service, a convenient location, and a touch of old-school charm, Granite Town Hotel is worth considering. Just be ready for a soft bed!
WE stayed in this hotel on Aug 1 and 2. We lost our credit cards and had no phone service. Renee at the front desk went above and beyond by lending us her personal phone. We were able to cancel the cards to avoid any fraud charges. Renee was very helpful!! She is a great asset to the hotel. The rest of the staff were always friendly also. We highly recommend this hotel!!
